Throughout this school year, Litchfield’s K-5th graders have been participating in career education through Kuder Inc.’s on-line Galaxy program. This program takes the student through 6 planets as they explore different career pathways all based on the research of the Holland Theory of Career Choice.
The most recent lessons focused on Artistic careers. The Kindergarten and 1st graders did activities that helped them better understand their interests and how those interests can help them make career choices after high school. The 2nd graders wrote thank you cards to someone who helped give them the needed tools to be successful in school.
Litchfield Career Service Coordinator Abby Carlson and Technology Assistant Tiffany Hendricks facilitate these weekly lessons as part of Litchfield CUSD #12’s ongoing career education program.
